A-Arm 4x2" Front Clips
(Pro Touring)
Chassisworks offers g-Machine A-arm crossmembers and front-frame clips, designed with the durability and versatility to fit your next pro-touring, g-Machine, muscle car, or pro-street project. The 4x2", .120"-wall crossmember and front-frame clips can be sized to accommodate hub widths from 51 to 65 inches, in 1-inch increments, without affecting wheel rates, ride quality, steering effort, or turning radius. All front-frame clips feature mandrel-bent frame rails and crossmember, and come complete with all suspension and steering-system mounts.
Frame clips can be shipped factory-welded or as unassembled kits for lower freight costs.

a polished finish. The center tube is polished stainless steel. Two
styles of mounts with stainless-steel hardware are available, for either
Chassisworks A-arm crossmembers or Mustang II-style crossmember mounts.
The rack can be rotated in its mount to align the input shaft with the
steering column. The rack tie-rod ends have male 9/16"-18 threads and
3/4"-36 spline input shafts. The racks are available in 15 different
inner-socket widths, allowing correct suspension geometry in very narrow
or very wide vehicles. Minimum inner-socket width is 15.5"; maximum is
29.5" (in 1-inch increments). The range is from nine inches shorter than
a Mustang II rack to five inches wider - making this component suitable
for virtually any manual-rack, front-steer application. |
