Full Frame, 4x2" Boxed
(Pro Touring, Street)
Intended for pro-touring, g-machine, and street car or truck applications, our 4x2" boxed-tubing frames are built from .120"-wall mild steel and available with 4-1/2" or 6" of frame-rail ground clearance. Front suspension consists of Chassisworks g-Machine double-A-arm and rack-and-pinion system. Rear suspension choices include ladder bar, parallel 4-link, or canted-4-bar systems.

| Description: |
This 2x4" front-to-rear frame is made of .120" wall mild steel tubing. The rear frame rails are mandrel bent with a lower rise over the axle making it easier to fit vehicles using a 29" tall tire. The ground clearance at the main crossmember is 7-1/2". The main crossmember uses the 1x2" oval driveshaft loop increasing driveshaft and ground clearance. The rear frame can be as narrow as 20" outside to outside width, allowing ample room for most tires. The ladder bars are mounted under the frame rails, not inside like our competitors. This makes the suspension as wide as possible even with a narrow frame rail width, creating a better handling vehicle. This rear frame is designed to be used with our 32" ladder bars (part nos. 6200, 6201, 6237 or 6287) and coil spring or coilover shocks. The front frame rails will have a 4-1/2" ground clearance at the firewall; these mandrel bent front frame rails connect to the street machine A-arm crossmember and main hoop crossmember. The street machine A-arm crossmember will accommodate hub widths from 51" to 65" wide and is factory welded in a special fixture. A street machine A-arm suspension package will be needed to complete the front suspension. We manufacture the billet rack-&-pinions in 15 different widths to match the crossmember width. This assures you will have perfect suspension geometry at any width (unlike our competitors who only have "Mustang II" suspension crossmembers and tell you it will fit any car or truck). The A-arm-&-Crossmember worksheet is used to determine the correct crossmember width for your application. A signed worksheet is required for all front-to-rear-frame orders.
