Driveshaft Loops and Ovals

Choose from a variety of universal-fit, weld-in driveshaft safety loops. Styles include 7/8" round-tube loop (also available with quick-release mounting hardware), and 1x2" box-tube open loop or closed ovals.

DRIVESHAFT LOOP, 1X2"; 10-1/2" INSIDE HEIGHT

Description:	For cars using a 3x2" ladder bar or 4-link crossmember, this 1x2", box-tube driveshaft loop allows the use of a straight frame crossmember to increase ground clearance. This U-bend style can be used as a replacement for any driveshaft loop. It can be welded to the 2x3" dropped crossmember as the rear driveshaft loop and tunnel support. Use this loop in pairs to create a finished oval with a custom height.

DRIVESHAFT OVAL, 1X2"; 11" INSIDE HEIGHT

Description:	For cars using a 3x2" ladder bar or 4-link crossmember, this 1x2", box-tube driveshaft loop allows the use of a straight frame crossmember to increase ground clearance. This 360-degree-oval, full loop has a 11" inside height for use by the rear U-joint with 7"-travel shocks. The inside height you need is determined by the required movement of the driveshaft in your chassis.

Description:	Mandrel-bent from 7/8"-OD, 4130 tubing, this loop features a narrower size: 6" wide (for greater seat clearance) by 11" tall. Designed to meet NHRA requirements, it fits 3"-diameter driveshafts. Use this loop as a second driveshaft loop forward of the main crossmember that mounts the forward end of your ladder bars or 4-link. It is installed in the x-bracing of the floor and within 6" of the driveshaft front U-joint.
