Drag Race Roll Cages

Roll cages are available in 8-, 10-, 12-, and 14-point configurations built from 1-5/8 x .134” HREW mild-steel to meet NHRA/IHRA safety requirements. Cages can be upgraded to 1-3/4 x .120” or 2 x .120” DOM mild steel or 4130 (special order) to meet the requirements of various open-track and road-racing organizations. You must check with your particular sanctioning body for specific requirements or guidelines.

Cage Conversion Kits

Once installed, all Chassisworks bars and cages can be retrofitted to create a full 14-point roll cage by purchasing a 1-5/8” or 1-3/4” cage conversion kit. The base conversion includes cage sides and a windshield brace, with the remaining struts and support tubes offered as options.

NOTE: All roll bars and cages ship by truck; freight collect.

10-POINT CAGE,4130

Description:	This weld-in kit is made of 1 5/8 .083 wall 4130 tubing. It includes a main hoop, cage sides, windshield brace, X-brace behind the main hoop, rear struts, side-bars, four 6x6x1/8 inch mounting plates, eight 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 roll cage gussets, 1-1/4 OD back brace bar and subframe struts. Designed to fit hardtop or sedan cars, and trucks listed. Fits most cars with the stock interior installed. They are not designed to fit convertible cars. In most cases the top will not function and the rear bars will need to be placed where the top folds in. Customer is responsible for any necessary modifications if purchased for a convertible car. This roll cage meets current NHRA requirements for cars with a 1/4 mile et of 8.50 or more. Swing-out side-bar kit (part no. 7038) is available separately. ROLL-BAR-TO-CAGE CONVERSION

Description:	This weld-in kit is made of 1-5/8 x .134" wall mild steel tubing. It includes a pair of cage sides, and windshield brace. This kit will convert your existing roll bar to a roll cage. Rocker tubes, dash bar, and side bars are optionally available. Designed to fit hardtop or sedan cars, and trucks listed. Fits most cars with the stock interior installed. It does not go through the dash making the installation easier. They are not designed to fit convertible cars.
