| Description: |
Made out of 2x4x.120" wall mild steel tubing. These mandrel bent frame rails have a lower rise over the axle making it easier to fit vehicles using a 29" tall tire. This is not our 7100 frame bent out of 2x4" material, it was redesigned for the smaller tire. The main crossmember uses the 1x2" oval loop increasing driveshaft and ground clearance. Our frame can be as narrow as 20" outside to outside width, allowing ample room for most tires. The ladder bars are mounted under the frame rails, not on the inside like our competitors. This makes the suspension as wide as possible even with a narrow frame rail width, creating a better handling vehicle. Designed for our 36" ladder bars (part nos. 6219, or 6229) and coil spring or coil over shocks. Kit includes a pair of frame rails; two 1x2" driveshaft loops; front crossmember tubing; upper shock mount crossmember; upper shock mount tabs; rear crossmember; front ladder bar mounts with four adjustment holes and gussets; hardware; instructions and drawing. Shipped unassembled by UPS. Factory welding and the 4"-ID exhaust ports are large enough for 3" exhaust are optionally available. |

Chassisworks ladder bars are constructed with direct-threaded tube for optimum strength. Lower bar adjusters permit pinion-angle adjustments. Our 1"-shank front rod ends are the largest in the industry, offering twice the strength of conventional 3/4" 4130 rod ends. Our 180-degree axle brackets are proven stronger and easier to install than competitive brackets. Plus, the contoured bracket design provides additional floor clearance. Axle brackets, nuts, bolts and rod ends are included with all ladder bars. These ladder bars feature 1-1/4"- diameter lower bars. Ours is the only adjustable ladder bar with 1" adjuster on the bottom bar, making adjustments much easier. The Pro Street Double-Adjustable ladder bar comes with billet -urethane rod ends for the street. These 36"-long bars are perfect for long-wheelbase cars and trucks. The 36" version is long enough for wheelbases up to 120". |

This welded FAB9™ mild steel rearend housing is available in lengths from 22" to 62-1/4" housing-end-to-housing-end in 1/4" increments. Pinion can be centered, 1/2" to passenger side or 1" to passenger side. You have a choice of 11 different housing combinations (see option list for details). The mild steel ladder bar brackets with 1/2" holes and 1-1/4" spacing between the brackets for the rod ends are welded at any outside-to-outside width from 16-1/2" to 42" in 1/2" increments. All welded housings will also include housing fill cap; magnetic drain plug with copper gasket; 12-point 3rd member studs; aircraft washers and locknuts. Shock mount brackets; Tapered back braces (which add rigidity for high horse power applications) and housing vent are optionally available. A signed Custom Rearend Worksheet (which gives us all the information needed to build the housing) is required with all welded FAB9™ orders. You will find a link to the worksheet on the order page. |
