Chassisworks customer Dennis Marchand was the deserving winner of the Goodguys's coveted Street Machine of the Year, 1999. Dennis' award-winning 1956 Chevy is built around a Chassisworks Eliminator-II, mild-steel, tube-frame chassis, with strut front end. And even though this "Street Machine" was frequently driven on the street, it is fully capable of backing up its fast pro-street look with a stack of low 9-second time slips.
