This weld-in kit is made of 1-3/4 x .134" wall mild steel tubing. It includes a main hoop, rear struts, side bars, and six 6x6x 1/8 inch mounting plates. Designed to fit hardtop or sedan cars, and trucks listed. Fits most cars with the stock interior installed. They are not designed to fit convertible cars. In most cases the top will not function and the rear bars will need to be placed where the top folds in. Customer is responsible for any necessary modifications if purchased for a convertible car. Bent rear struts to clear the rear seat are an available option (part no. 7028). This roll bar meets current NHRA requirements with a 1/4 mile et of 11.00 to 13.99. For additional safety in all race applications we suggest a roll cage (our part no. 7002) over the roll bar. Swing-out side-bar kit (part no. 7033) is available separately.
