For '75-81 Camaro/Firebird body with a 108" wheel base. For best fit, assemble the main cage and rear frame rails inside the body. Use with our Avenger 4-link and stud mount VariStruts or Strange strut front suspension. Ground clearance is 3-1/2" at the 4-link crossmember and 3-1/2" at the front crossmember. The 20" outside 4-link bracket width will accommodate up to 34.5x17" rear tires. The funny car cage surrounds the driver and locates the seat as far to the rear as possible. The roll cage assembly consists of 1-5/8x.083", 1-5/8x.065" and 1-1/4x.058" wall 4130 tubing. Double frame rails; X-brace in the floor; collector risers; cage side diagonal floor supports; butt bar and extra bracing is standard on this chassis design. The kit includes a pair of front frame rails; a pair of rear frame rails; funny car cage; collector risers; upper strut cup mount; lower control arm mounts; tubular Pro box rack-and-pinion crossmember and mounts; rear coil-over upper shock mount tabs and hardware; two engine mount loops; CAD drawing; and instructions. Due to sanctioning body rule changes, the purchaser takes all responsibility for assembling the chassis to meet the specific class you are running.
