Improved braking stability, sharper steering response, reduced body-roll, and precise control of alignment settings are all easily achieved with this simple bolt-on from Total Control Products. While no more difficult than replacing a stock control arm, the double-adjustable and dropped pivot-shaft arms from Total Control Products will add some much needed functionality and improvement to nearly any Mustang-related Ford or Mercury from 1960-1977. Bolting directly in place of the stock upper arm, the Total Control arms feature an offset pivot shaft to gain the geometry benefits of the lower pivot axis without having to drill holes through the shock tower. (Non-offset pivot shaft arms also available.) In addition to creating deflection-free pivot points, the double-threaded assemblies enable on-car adjustment of both caster (6-degree range) and camber (5-1/2-degree range) within minutes, and to a level of precision not possible with standard shims.
