Truck Chassis
Research and development pays off, our full-size truck chassis test vehicle has achieved consistent mid-7-second times - at 3130 pounds! We have transferred our years of car building knowledge to the truck chassis, assuring the best possible fit and performance. Available with either A-arm or strut front suspension and our proven Eliminator II 4-link rear suspension, models are currently offered for full-size Chevy/GMC trucks, 1955-87; and S-10 Chevy/GMC trucks, 1982-95. The basic, unwelded kit includes a frame and cage, most suspension brackets, blueprints and detailed instructions. This chassis can also be purchased with numerous options (some of which appear in the photo).

Prior to purchasing a chassis kit, you may want to buy the CAD drawing and instruction sheet. Reviewing these may help you decide if the project is something you would like to do. When you purchase the same chassis within 60 days of the invoice date for the drawing package, you will receive full credit toward the chassis purchase. For '82-04 Chevy S-10 standard cab trucks with a 108" wheel base or extended cab trucks with a 118" wheel base. For best fit, assemble the main cage and rear frame rails inside the body. Use with our Eliminator II 4-link and tubular A-arm front suspension. Ground clearance is 3-1/2" at the 4-link crossmember and 3" at the firewall. The front and rear frame rails join at the 4-link support tubes, these position the 4-link the correct distance from the rearend. Also allowing you to make the rear rails narrower, as little as 17" outside width, for bigger tires. The roll cage assembly consists of 1-5/8x.134" wall and 1-1/4x.120" wall ERW tubing. Double frame rails in the center of the chassis increase rigidity for higher horse power applications.
