This weld-in kit is made of 1-5/8 x .083" wall 4130 tubing. . It includes a main hoop, cage sides, windshield brace, rear struts, side bars, four 6x6x1/8 inch mounting plates, eight 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 roll cage gussets, 1-1/4 OD back brace bar and subframe struts. Designed to fit hardtop or sedan cars, and trucks listed. Fits most cars with the stock interior installed. They are not designed to fit convertible cars. In most cases the top will not function and the rear bars will need to be placed where the top folds in. Customer is responsible for any necessary modifications if purchased for a convertible car. This roll cage meets current NHRA requirements for cars with a 1/4 mile et of 8.50 or more. Swing-out side-bar kit (part no. 7038) is available separately.
